Giveaway reminder!!

I am giving away a lovely necklace, I will announce the winner on Friday. To find out how to enter click here!

Saturday 30.05. The Travelling Scarf.

I am so excited that the travelling scarf has made it all the way over to me in sunny (and it actually is) Scotland! As you see I could not resist adding to my outfit yesterday but today is the outfit that I had in my head for my time with the beautiful scarf!

I have to say that the pictures do not do this beauty justice at all! The pattern and colours are just amazing when you see it in person!
I decided that a nice soft jersey dress in black was how I was going to go with the scarf. Letting the scarf (oh and my new shoes) have all of the glory. The dress that I have on today is new stock and it has a cowl neck so I decided to use the scarf as a belt! I am so happy with how it turned out. It is a beautiful hot and sunny day here today and I feel stylish (and cool).

Thank you Kimberly for for organising this and providing the fabulous scarves!

Today's outfit is:

Black cowl neck dress - BlendShe @ i am.....
Black cropped cardigan - Primark
Scarf as belt - Travelling scarf
Shoes - Matalan

Friday 29.05.

I was not feeling to well yesterday and I ended up not getting the chance to post. The inspiration for yesterday was J.Crew and never had I been so glad. I did not feel like being anything other than casual and comfy!

On a more positive note, the fabulous travelling scarf has landed on this side of the pond - with me! Being the way that I am I absolutely HAD to wear it, so I folded it into a triangle and wore it around my neck! Having not planned it at all, it totally worked with the outfit that I was wearing! I would like to point out that this is not my actual travelling scarf outfit - that has still to come!

Friday's outfit was:

Rolled jeans - Vila @ i am.....
Mustard vest top - J.Crew
Red Stripe cardigan - Vila @ i am.....
Red Walkstar Fit Flops - Fitness Footwear

This top came into stock yesterday and I grabbed one for myself straight away - at £20.00 these will be swift movers! It came in 3 colour combos, there is a blue/green, red/pink and coral/lilac. You all know of my love for coral so there was no contest! It is such a comfy, well fitting top. I find that one shoulder styles can often be a bad fit. This one is jersey and the Medium is a perfect fit on me! I am loving the ruffle detail too - so girly!

I bought these cute little sandals for going to the Bahamas, put them under the bed and totally forgot all about them. I was looking for other shoes and found them still in their box! It may be time for another clear out!

Today's outfit is:

White Jeans - Chilli Pepper
One shoulder floral top - Vila @ i am.....
Blue Jacket - Missy in Love
White sandals - eBay
Silver jewellery - Tiffany

Ooopps!

I have just been on Topshop.com looking for ideas for my sisters birthday gift (birthday is tomorrow) and I noticed this beautiful top that I am adding to MY Birthday Wish List! It is £38.00 and has the detailing all over the back (I could not get a picture of the back).
I honestly was not looking for anything for me!!

I love this so much that I am going to email the link to my bf right now!

This is my take on Pretty in Purple! And I have to say that I am feeling it today, after having my out of control hair cut last night! Now I have to tackle the colour tonight - wish me luck!

I love this dress and now kick myself on a regular basis that I did not get it in any other colours at the time! The classic shape works very well for me and the ruffles on the sleeve just give the dress a bit of edge!

Today's outfit is:

Purple dress - Mossimo @ Target
Scarf (as belt) - Vila @ i am.....
Shoes - Forever 21
Necklace - Primark
Ring - Charlotte Russe

The inspiration Calendar called for a bright colour with white and I knew straight away what I was wearing today!

In the flesh this skirt is very bright and shiny - I LOVE it! I saw it one night when trawling eBay but it was mid calf length! I kept my eye on it and bid and got it for the great price of £1.80 (it is from Topshop). When it arrived I tried it on and it fit perfectly but the length hit me at the wrong place. I called my local dress maker and took it to her and she worked her magic, taking 3 inches off the length and making it just perfect!

Once it was altered I decided that it would be the perfect item to wear to the wedding rehearsal dinner in the Bahamas so I started to look for accessories - I already knew that a simple white vest top would be a beautiful simple look!
I spied these shoes in a local boutique window and gave in a few days later. Jelly shoes with added bling - never thought I would wear Jelly shoes again!!
I finished the look with turquoise accessories and it looked great!

However, for today I wanted to stick with just the 2 colours and I am really happy with how it has turned out! Now if the sun would just stay out from behind those clouds!!

Today's outfit is:

Silver satin skirt - Topshop via eBay
White wrap t-shirt - BlendShe @ i am.....
White half sleeve cardigan - Vila @ i am.....
Jelly shoes - Holster
Silver jewellery - Tiffany
Necklaces - Guess & Plume

Thank You!!

I just wanted to take a few minutes and say thank you to everyone that takes the time to read this blog everyday (or whenever you can).
It means such a lot to me to know that something that I enjoy doing someone else enjoys reading!

I want to say another thank you to the new commenter's and readers that have been coming by the blog this past few weeks - it is great to meet you all and I hope that you keep coming over!

If there are any lurkers out there, please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think.

I would love it if I could actually thank you all with a real cupcake, but for now this picture will have to do!

Monday 24.05.

It is yet another Bank Holiday here today and it is also the final day of my sale. I am actually glad that I have been here today as there have been lots of people out walking and enjoying the time off. In return I have had plenty of people in browsing and shopping!

I have been very much trying to stick the Inspiration Calendar, but I do not own Gingham! I thought that this dress was a nice little compromise as it is a mix of a bold floral pattern and another (not sure what - feel free to shed some light).
I love this dress, it feels so fresh yet bright and it is so easy and comfy to wear!

I have my flat sandals on as my bf and I made good use of the beautiful weather yesterday and walked to the next town up the cost (4 miles each way) to one of our favorite coffee shops. The walk was beautiful the tea and cakes (yes plural, I could not decide so I had two - oops) were amazing, but the trainers that I wore have left me with sore feet and pain in my lower back. I thought it was best to not risk wearing heels today!!

Today's outfit is:

Printed dress - Vila
Sandals - Primark
Cuff - H&M
Necklace - Plume

It is Saturday and I am very happy about that. We have no plans for this weekend and I am even happier about that. My bf was out with a friend last night so I had a lovely night soaking in the bath with new magazines and giving myself a much needed pedicure! I then had a nice early night.
This evening I think we will have some dinner before heading out for a walk (we have been a bit lax lately) and pick up a movie from Blockbuster while we are out (must resist the Ben & Jerry's)!

The weather is not so nice here today, so I thought I would put jeans on and go for a bit of a more casual look. I love the this little check shirt, I love the coral colour that runs through it. I decided to team it with my turquoise jewellery as I think that coral and turquoise work very well together!

Today's outfit is:

Wide leg jeans - Vila @ i am.....
Check shirt - BlendShe @ i am.....
Necklace - Forever 21
Ring - New Look
Charm Bracelet - Thomas Sabo
Wedges - Dune

Wearing other shoes was not an option today, so the outfit was planned around the shoes! I was thinking of wearing my black crepe skirt that has the pink layer and doing some colour clashing. I was in the wardrobe looking for the skirt when I spied this dress and knew that I had to wear this instead!

I am having a 3 day sale with 20% off all of my stock, so I am hopeful of a few busy days. I hope that everyone that has time off over the weekend has a great time whatever the plans are.

Today's outfit is:

Multi-colour stripe dress - French Connection @ i am.....
Multi-colour patent sandals - Matalan
Scarf - Echo via eBay
Necklace - Ann Taylor Loft

Ooohh, New Shoes!!!!!

On Monday evening after work I asked my bf if he wanted to come with me to Matalan on a shoe trawl. He came along and as always was very good at giving me his opinion, finding my size and getting me other styles that I wanted to try.

I tried on 2 styles that I LOVED but on style was small made and narrow (not good for me) but they did not have the other size, so I went with the ones that fitted (I have yet to wear them).
Oh, did I mention that the majority of shoes in Matalan are only £16.00!!!

Last night my bf came home from work late, and he was carrying a bag. He handed it over and it was the shoes!!!

They are beautiful and I love them so much.
My bf was out and about with work yesterday and he stopped in at a Matalan in another town to check if they had these shoes in the bigger size. He is such a sweetie!

I have the shoes on today - I will post later!

Polka dots and stripes!!

What do you think?? I have to say that I really like it! I am so glad that I found this great little cardigan!

This outfit was really easy to put together, I knew that I wanted to use the cardigan and this little dress has been in the bottom of the wardrobe (still in the wrapper it was delivered in) since December. I have no idea why it was over looked for so long?

Again, I feel that this look is a very simple one as there are only a few colours. But, I feel that it really makes a statement. I also think that it is better simple as the dress feels a little on the short side - I would feel happier if I had tights on, but I am hoping to keep those packed away until autumn!

Today's outfit is:

Polka dot dress - Max C London
Stripe cardigan - Primark
Shoes - Nine West
Belt - New Look
Necklace - Primark
Earrings - H&M

BELT IT!!

That was the inspiration for today - so I did! I spent about 10 minutes (making me a little late) looking for this beauty of a belt. No, it was not where it should have been!! I have a bit of a bad habit of taking belts off before setting off on my walk home - low and behold it was in a hand bag that I have not used for ages!

I LOVE how simple and fresh this outfit is, and how well white and tan just work together. This dress is a fab summer staple (I know that it is not summer yet, but I had to wear it anyway) as it is the lightest cotton and the sleeves so floaty they never feel restrictive!

Today's outfit is:

White cotton dress - Vila
Belt - Next
Wedges - Dune
Wooden bead jewellery - Plume
Bangles - eBay
Earrings - Primark

I was very tired last night so I headed off to bed for an early night - I picked up Twilight and thought I will read a chapter, an hour later I put the book down and I did not get my early night!
I was still pretty tired this morning so I decided to for some bright block colour!

I regularly forget that I have these shoes and I have no idea why, they are very comfy to wear (and even walk in) and they go with so many other colours.

Today's outfit is:

Block colour dress - SkunkFunk
Necklaces - H&M
Ring - New Look
Earrings - Forever 21 via the fabulous Kimberly
Charm Bracelet - Thomas Sabo
Pewter wedges - Payless shoes

Birthday Wish List.

I think I may have started to compose my birthday wish list a bit early - my birthday is not until the middle of June - I can not help but look at all of the lovely things that are on offer online!

I love Checking out Urban Outfitters (especially the sale section) and this morning I have stumbled across two beautiful necklaces that I think I may just have to add to the list! I think I may be a disappointed girl come my birthday!

I love the wing necklace (I think it would look great with what I am wearing today!) and I think that the £24.00 price tag is not too steep!

I LOVE this statement Bib necklace £32.00, I can picture it with my skinny jeans and a plain white round neck t-shirt!

I must keep on my best behaviour for the next few weeks!!

Love them.....

Look at these beautiful, beautiful shoes.

I have my birthday coming up soon and my bf and I were chatting about what I would like, I have not been shopping for so long that I asked if we could go to our nearest mall after work on the day of my birthday and I can pick my own gifts. He agreed, so I have started to compose a list of things that I am on the hunt for......

I started with Topshop and saw the Lively Multi-Coloured Sandal straight away. I could wear them with almost anything!! They are £60 and they are on my birthday wish list!!! They could be the item that I ask my parents to buy me......

Ode to Coco!

I love this look, I feel very smart and put together. But skinny jeans are a great way to start off the week!

This top was a style that sold like hot cakes last spring and I am so glad that I held on to it as it is nice and smart, yet loose and comfy to wear! However, I have just noticed a small mark on the front of the top - I really hope that it comes out when I wash it!

I had a lovely (busy) weekend. The weather held out and we were able to have a nice little BBQ on Saturday night. On Sunday we got up early and went to a local car boot sale and got some lovely plants for my patio pots. My bf had a job to do near Loch Lomond as it was a nice day I decided to go along for the ride. I had a lovely afternoon, being driven about the beautiful countryside, reading Twilight when we were stopped. Sunday night we headed to Glasgow to see a band play in a great bar!
All in all it was a fantastic weekend!

Today's outfit is:

Black Skinny Jeans - Primark
Cream top - BlendShe
Cream & Black shoes - New Look
Faux Pearls - eBay
Black necklace - H&M
Bangles - Primark
Ring - H&M

It is Saturday (thank goodness) and I am feeling a bit Grecian

I got these gorgeous gold, sparkly, jersey dresses in stock at the end of last week and was instantly drawn to it. I am a lover of neutral and brown tones as I find them easy to wear - easier than black for me - and thought that this would be a perfect summer staple.

I am still not feeling the heels so I grabbed my trusty gold Roman/Greek style flip flops and headed out the door. I think it is the addition of the flip flops to the outfit that has made me feel a bit Grecian??
Anyway, I am comfortable and I feel bright, summery and well styled!

We have mine and my bf's parents coming round for dinner tonight (I hope that we are able to BBQ) and tomorrow night we are heading out with a group of friends to a Bar in Glasgow to hear a band play. It is going to be busy, but should be a very fun filled weekend!
I hope that you all have a lovely time whatever your plans are!

Today's outfit is:

Gold jersey dress - Max C London @ i am.....
Gold belt- ?
Gold flip flops - New Look
Gold Cuff - Banana Republic
Gold Necklace - H&M

Today I am wearing a skirt that I just do not wear enough!! OK, maybe not! But I wish that I could wear this skirt at least once a week, so I feel that I do not wear it enough

This is the first time that I have worn this skirt without tights and I really like it with bare legs and my little coral flats! I have just not been feeling heels this week, so I have been breaking out my flats for a bit of a change.

When I was out on Monday with my sisters, I got this cute ring on sale in New Look. I love it and at £3.00 what a bargain!

Today's outfit is:

Patterned skirt - French Connection
Black vest top - Tesco
Coral cardigan - J Crew
Coral ballet flats - Topshop
Necklace - Topshop
Ring - New Look
Charm Bracelet - Thomas Sabo
