Friday 20.11.

After weeks of feeling blah, I finally feel more like myself in this outfit.

This is one of my favorite dresses and I think I may still get quite a bit of wear out of it! The lace part of the dress is quite loose and underneath is a clingy lycra slip! It may just be wishful thinking that on my part!

I am ashamed to say that I had forgotten about this little jacket. I unearthed it this morning and instantly remembered how fabulous it is!

Thursday 19.11.

Sale day is here and it is all go, go, go with me. As well as work I have an appointment with the midwife this afternoon and I have to go home and see to the puppy as my bf is working late too!

I was going to wear a dress for the sale tonight, but I figured that I am pretty much going to be in dresses until June so I might as well wear my jeans while they still fit me! 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow and my own (not maternity) skinny jeans still fit me - yay to that!!

Wednesday 18.11.

Half way through the week already - time really is flying at the moment! No bad thing, I will be sunning myself by the pool soon!

I have had a nice productive day - I have been getting ready for the Pre Christmas Sale Night that I am having in the shop tomorrow night. I am having a super sale rail and reducing most of the Christmas party wear! No point in holding on to it until January when no one is looking for it!

Last time I wore this long waist coat I paired with the brown leggings. So for a change this time I decided to go with all black under it and my favorite brown boots! I am really happy with how it has turned out!
I think my time with waist belts may be coming to an end for a while - this one just has not worked for me today - it keeps moving upwards and catching on the buttons of the waist coat!

Tuesday 17.11.

I do not know where today has gone - it feels like I have just turned the lights on and taken my coat off - yet it is 4pm! I do love a day like that! I also love that it has been one of those days that people have loved everything that we stock and the till has been ringing away!!

After my day off yesterday I am officially ready for my holiday! I spent the entire day cleaning and washing and organising. I can not wait to get away. I apologise in advance if the outfits are a bit blah this week!

This outfit looked so much better in my head. I have to say that I actually do not like this look! That has way more to do with me, and the way that I am feeling, than the outfit!

I loved this dress as a summer piece, but I am not so sure about it with the leggings and long sleeved t-shirt underneath!

And the bad blogger strikes again........

At the moment my day to day life is pretty full on and it is taking it out of me. I am hoping that my holiday in the sun is going to re-charge my batteries. That and being back to having set days off again should help.

I can not wait to seriously update my wardrobe when I am away, I feel like I am now firmly in a place where the clothes that I have no longer work for me.

Only half way through the week and I am super tired! I suppose it is just as well that I am off on my holidays soon!

Tuesday 10.11.

No post from yesterday as I had my first full day off for a while - it was great! Today I am only working this morning (my mum is covering for me this afternoon).

I decided on a very casual outfit for today as I have so much to do this afternoon - well that and my jeans are still very much fitting me! I am going for a swim as soon as I finish, I am then rushing home to see Bista and eats something for lunch, before heading to town to run a quick errand. Then I am getting the disaster that is my hair tamed and I have to get some food shopping done! Wow - that is a really busy afternoon!

It is Saturday!! YAY!!

I am off to a fireworks display and bonfire later this evening! It is an organised event on a local beach, so it should be a good show - very cold, but good to watch!

My bf has been away with work for a few days, but he is home late tonight. At the moment we have no real plans for tomorrow - just a day relaxing in the house!

The bad blogger returns!! I have had lots going on in the shop over the last few weeks and I still have lots to get organised for Christmas events and for when I am off on my holiday (so my blogging may be a bit hit or miss next week too).

The dress that I wore on friday was an un-worn customer return - it has a slight flaw under one of the ruffles. I decided that I would add to my wardrobe (for the time being) instead of going to bother of returning it to the manufacturer. I love the dress but it is quite a bit clingier than I thought, so I may not get quite as long out of it as I hoped.......

Thursday 05.11.

My plan for the next 2 weeks, before we head off on holiday, was to wear the fitted styles that I have in my wardrobe - you know while I still can! However, this morning my entire body felt like lead. I got up had breakfast, walked the dog and had my shower and still felt not better.

So, I am afraid fitted clothing was just not an option! Instead I decided to go with this fab over sized shirt and the best boots in the world! I love this look! Well apart from the cheap belt that is catching on the shirt!

Wednesday 04.11.

First of all I want to thank everyone that has left congratulations messages and good wishes - I appreciate each and every one of them. You guys are all great!

I have no idea where yesterday went, it just turned out to be one of those days that get away from you!

I did not sleep well on Tuesday night - we had very, very loud and heavy rain that kept waking me. When I got up on Wednesday it was still dull and wet so I pulled out a nice brightly coloured outfit and it worked a treat. I had a great day and pulled myself out of my tired, glum mood!

Fashion Mojo!

I have mentioned a few times over the last few weeks that I feel that have lost my sense of style (my fashion mojo if you like). I stand at night staring at my wardrobe for inspiration and head off to bed feeling lost and still having no idea what I am going to wear the next day.

Part of this is down to me not having been on a shopping trip for a while, another part is that I have not really updated my wardrobe from the styles that are arriving in the shop - so I kind of feel un-excited about the items that I have to wear.

However, I think the actual reason may have something to do with this.........



Yes, i am...... is getting a fabulous new member of staff early May '10! I am very excited about all that is going in at the moment and feel very, very happy!

I am hoping to feel a bit more fashionable as I update my wardrobe with styles that are going to suit my shape. However, having had a look at the maternity styles out there I think it is going to be quite the challenge!!

Tuesday 03.11.

Earlier post for me today as I am only in the shop until lunchtime. This afternoon I am going for a quick swim (need to get into the winter exercise routine), then I have the puppy to walk and after that the afternoon is my own.

I went for another comfy outfit this morning - the weather is too wet and windy to be worrying about skirts or tights! I have had these boots for a few years and I have not really worn them much, but I am loving how they look with leggings and tunics this year!

Monday 02.11.

Wow! So it is November, where has this year gone?? Ah well not long until we are off to Florida for some sun and shopping! I can not wait!

Today is all about comfort for a horrid day. The weather is horrid, the cleaning that I had to do in the shop was horrid, flattening cardboard boxes is horrid and the start of another week feels pretty horrid too!

Saturday 31.10.

No Halloween plans for me this year! I was in work all day and we had some friends round in the evening.

This dress is a new style in the shop and I just love everything about it. It was honestly like wearing PJ's to work - I was that comfy! I was going to pair the dress with grey tights and a grey cardigan, but I thought that would be a bit dull and boring. So, I dug out the purple ones that I love!

Review - Caterpillar Bebot Boots.

I was recently asked, by the lovely people over at Fitness Footwear, to pick a pair of shoes or boots from the HUGE range of Caterpiller shoes that they stock to review for them. As you can imagine I was more than happy to oblige.

I then spent the next hour or so going through every single Caterpillar style that Fitness Footwear had in stock. First of all I have to point out that Caterpillar boots are much better now than what I remember from the 1990’s! After having a good look I thought about what I was needing and what (if anything) was missing from my shoe/boot collection.

As you know there is a new puppy in my life and she loves her 2 walks per day no matter what the weather!This was the area that I was going to add to. I have wet, yucky weather covered with my wellie boots, I have the dry nice day time weather covered with my trainers, but there is gap for the cold, frosty, slippy weather.

I needed (as much as a person with a huge amount of shoes and boots can need) nice cosy warm boots that offered some ankle support and that had a good chunky rubber sole. In the end I opted for the Caterpillar Bebot. I chose the lighter colour which is Houndawg.

They are fabulous - I love them. They are so comfy and cosy and I think they look great with my skinny jeans tucked inside!!So far I have worn them to scramble over the slimy rocks on the beach and I did not even slip. I have worn them on very cold but dry nights and my feet and ankles have been lovely and snug. And on Sunday I wore them when we took the dog for a walk in the woods and again they were simply fabulous!
