Friday 11.12.

Wow - the end of last week just got away from me. Things have been busy at work (good times) and at home. The bf and I have had something on most nights (not always together, but lots of coming and going all the same).

While we have been busy we have been making a real effort to make sure things are getting done around the house, like the dishes right after eating and the laundry and putting the laundry away and making sure that Bista gets a long enough walk each evening. Our thinking on this one is that come May we are always going to be busy (when the baby comes) and these things have to get done!! It has been kind of tricky sometimes but we are getting there!

Friday was a cold one and I decided to debut my favorite hat. I love this baby so much - it is the dressiest hat that I have and it is so, so cosy to wear!

Thursday 06.08.

What an interesting evening I had last night!! I managed to get myself voted on to the local traders comittee! Me and my big mouth - one day I will learn to just sit and keep quiet! Oh, well I am sure it will be fun getting my ideas across!

I am off out straight from work today so I had to pick an outfit that was work, dinner, drinks and spiritualist appropriate! Yes I am off to a spiritualist evening with my good friend. I know that these things are not for everyone, but this one all proceeds from tickets are going to local charities. I take these things with a pinch of salt, but I am looking forward to good food and chat with my friend!

On an outfit note, I spied this belt in Tesco on Monday and knew that I would be able to jazz up the most boring of outfits with it, and at only £2.00 it was a steal!

Thusrday (not Wednesday) evening.

So, last night after I finished work I had my legs waxed, headed home had a 20 minute walk along the beach to chill out and enjoy the sun that had come out! I had a quick shower and change (stayed in the skinny jeans and changed to a grey chiffon top with lime green detailing) touched up my make up just in time for our friends arriving!

We ended up heading out for a pub dinner as we all wanted different things from take away, it was great very relaxed and every one was happy with their food!
Next we headed along to the opening of the bar - by the time we arrived it was well and truly open. Met up with lots of other friends and some customers! It turned out to be a great night of catching up. It was not too late we headed home just after 11pm.

Wednesday.

The legs are back under wraps today - the one and only reason is the weather. It rained all night last night and was still bucketing down at 8.30am this morning so jeans won! My feet did still get wet, but my legs were dry!

Myself, my mum and one of my sisters went to the cinema to see Mamma Mia! We got off to a bad start but got there eventually and it was so worth it!
It was Orange Wednesday yesterday which was one of the reasons that we were going (two for the price of one cinema tickets). So we headed to the largest cinema in our area (about 10 miles away) only to find out that it was totally sold out! We got back into the car and drove back the 10 miles to another cinema. We went in and got tickets for the show at 8.40pm - Yippee! But, it was only 7.30pm, so rather than waste petrol we headed to a bar across the road from the cinema and shared a bottle of wine!
The entire night was fantastic, a great giggle and loads of people watching!

Tonight at 5pm I am getting my legs waxed, I then have to dash home and have a quick tidy up, quick change and get ready. We have friends coming over for dinner (take away) we have not seen them since their wedding in June!! Then we are heading to the opening of a bar that is a few doors along from my shop, where we are meeting some other friends.

Wednesday.

Today my sister graduates university (Nursing Degree). My parents have been to ceremony which is in the town hall. There were limited tickets and I was unable to get the time off, so it was just my parents and her partner that went along.
The rest of us are heading out for a family meal, to a local Italian restaurant, this evening to celebrate.

We are going out at 7pm which does give me plenty of time to go home and change my outfit, but I feel that what I have on today is smart enough. So, fingers crossed that between now and 7pm I do not spill anything!!!! The chances of me pulling this off are on the slim side!

We have had such a busy time lately with functions etc. We have had weddings, multiple birthdays and graduations. It always works out this way when we are trying to cut back on our spending, especially eating and drinking out!
