After the winters day that we experienced yesterday (I honestly do not think the rain stopped at all during day light hours and it was so chilly) I did not feel like risking bare legs today!!
I do, however, feel that it is just a wee bit early for the tights and feel that this look is very dark for August.

Today's look is:

Skirt - Charlotte Russe
Cami - Primark
Jumper - H&M
Shoes - Christian Louboutin

I had a fabulous weekend with my family - the weather was not great but we still managed to get out and about and have lots of fun together.
On Saturday we collected out wedding pictures (the proofs) from the photographer, we then went to get a birthday gift, afterwards we went to a local farm park with tea room for some lunch and a play outside. Sunday was spent at a family birthday party.
This weekend will be quieter and I am very much looking forward to it.

Some sales bargains....

I am not a huge shopper of the sales, I work in retail and sale time is just not a pleasant time - in my opinion.
As a shopper I can not be bothered with the mess and the rummaging for something in my style. That said a few weeks ago I was in Primark stocking up on toddler vests and pants when I passed a rail full of random-ness!
Photobucket
Everything on the rail was £5 and there was a single skirt that grabbed my attention. I love the colours, it has a belt,  the print, it is cotton, it is lined and it has pockets. I did not even try it on I just bought it. I am so happy that I did.

Photobucket Photobucket As well as not being a huge sales shopper, I am not an Internet shopping fan - I own a bricks and mortar store, I like to support the high street!! However H&M have changed my views (a little). The local H&M store that we have is not great. I love the kids clothes and started to order for Miss O. As you do, I then started to look at items for me. Before I knew where I was I had a blazer £12 and bikini arrive on my doorstep!!

Photobucket Photobucket
I think I will get a lot of wear from the blazer - it is classic!

Quick post while I have 5 minutes between working and final stages of wedding planning!! I feel like I am drowning in ribbon!!!

An easy to wear outfit today, Tuesday mornings are a bit of a rush as I have to get Miss O to playgroup for 9.20am. I got this blouse for my birthday a few weeks ago and this is the first time that I have worn it. I love the style and the orange print.

Jeans - Primark

Blouse - H&M
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

Casual, casual, casual.......... That is the look, well feel, for today.

I walked 8 miles last night and I could not bear the thought of heels or restrictive clothing for today.
I got this maxi skirt a few weeks ago, it was a real bargain (under £5) but it is a bit more clingy than I would have liked. But I like the colour and the comfort of it. As for the look - I kept it super simple with just black.

I made it back to Weight Watchers this morning and the news was not good!! It was not devastating but I need to get my head back in the game. I have 4 weeks until the wedding and that means that I have 3 weeks to lose a few pounds. It is time for me to say goodbye to wine, nibbles, chocolate and cake and a big hello to my trainers and the running app on my phone!! I will report back in next week!!

Today's look is:

Skirt - eBay
T-shirt - H&M
Sandals - Primark
Necklace - Topshop

A customer walked in on me taking pictures of myself this morning!! That was awkward!!

I love this dress and realised recently that I had not worn it for ages (I sold the shoes that I used to wear with it on eBay in one of my mad clear outs). As much as I love this dress when I see the pictures today I do not like it with bare legs. I think that with it having the black slip underneath it needs black tights to make it pop!

I do also think that it is just a fraction too short for the bare leg look!

Today's look is:

Lace dress - Vila
Cardigan - Primark
Shoes - Nine West

Monday 11.06.12

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket What a quick weekend that was!! It was my hen weekend, so me and 7 friends spent a fabulous day and overnight at a spa hotel. Lots of laughs were had, good food eaten and cocktails drunk. The relaxing massages were fabulous too!!

Back to work today and with being away for the overnight I was not at all organised this morning. I am pretty pleased with this outfit considering it was pulled together in a rushed fashion this morning.

It is just myself and Miss O tonight as N is working late. It will be bath and early beds all round, but I will try and plan my clothes for tomorrow as I have Miss O to get to playgroup for 9.30am in the morning so we will be rushing.

Today's look is:

Jeans - Marshalls
Blouse - Charlotte Russe
Cami - Walmart
Jacket - Primark
Wedges - Payless Shoes

I had another rotten nights sleep last night - bleuch!! On top of it being broken by a small person, the rain hammering off the window before 6am had me awake way before I hoped to be. Am I any more organised today?? Not a bit. I think I need to assess my routines and tweak them.

This dress was in the eBay pile, but I decided to give it one more chance. I think it has been saved for the time being. It is a lot comfier than I remember - so I think it being too small was how it ended up in the pile.

Today's look is:

Cardigan - J.Crew

Boots - Armani Exchange

I really tried to have an early night last night, but it just did not happen. So, today I feel even more tired than I did yesterday. This evening I plan to get the house as organised as I can before little Miss O goes to bed and then try and catch up with the ironing after she is in bed. Rock "n" roll huh??

As boring as that may be, it needs done. I made a deal with myself that this year I was going to try and be more organised. We are 2 weeks into the new year and I am still in as much of a muddle as ever.

Pretty much all of today's look comes from Forever 21. I am looking forward to visiting again in March. But it will be a very much more reserved shopping trip this time as funds are having to go elsewhere.

Today's look is:

Skirt - Forever 21
Jumper - Forever 21
Cami - Primark
Tights - Tesco
Boots - Forever 21

** I will not be wearing these patterned tights with this skirt again. I do not like how it looks in the pictures.

Wow life has been hitting us hard lately and blogging has just not been on my mind. But I am back and I hope to stay back. I need to keep motivated with my clothing and my diet in the coming months as I am going to be on a strict budget (no more buying clothes) and I want to stay this size without having to start paying for Weight Watchers again.

So far 2012 is going well for us but he have had more than our fair share of colds and tummy bugs. This on top of working 3 days a week, running a cloth nappy store from home, looking after an energetic toddler and keeping a home is proving tough going. But I am not going to moan about is as what we have is just fabulous.

We are on the count down to a fabulous 2 week holiday in the sun, a big birthday (my mums) and a new baby (my sister is due her first baby in early April). 2012 is going to be a good fun year.

Today is it cold and damp, I will be honest I wanted to wear skinny jeans, Ugg boot and a super snuggly cardigan....... But I resisted. I love this dress as it is structured enough to look smart, yet is super comfy to wear and really quite cosy. The flats were a bargain in Primark before Christmas and I have worn them so, so much.

Today's look is:

Dress - Blend
Tights - New Look
Scarf - Blend
Shoes - Primark

Back to work for me today. It is an odd one as I am happy to be back to it and getting things done but I am missing spending time with my family. On Christmas Eve N, Miss O and myself were all in the local post office (I am there everyday Monday to Friday and N is in for me on a Saturday) and the owner commented that it was the first time she had EVER seen us all together as a family. We have had this same set up since April! This made me really quite sad - as it highlighted that we have so little time as a family.

However, we have had a lovely few days together and Christmas has been wonderful. We also have a few days just us again next week and I am very much looking forward to it.

It is pretty miserable and stormy here today so I decided cosy was the order of the day. My sister got me this cardigan for Christmas and I love it. However, next time I think I will pair it with a more colourful look.

Today's look is:

Jeans - Primark
T-shirt - Primark
Cardigan - New look
Shoes - Charlotte Russe
Scarf - Gift

As it was so long ago I have very little to say about this look.

Well other than I love the skirt. I had noticed it in Primark in the autumn and liked it, however, I did not like it enough to pay the price tag (it was not a huge amount of money but....). Anyway I was in town with my mum and Miss O the day before and this was on a clearance rack for £1.00!! Yep just £1.00 - it was the only one so I grabbed it and bought it ( I did not try it on as it was only £1.00). I am really pleased with it and have a few ideas in mind of other ways to wear it soon.

Outfit was:

Skirt - Primark
Tee - B Young
Cardigan - Blend
Tights - SkunkFunk
Boots - Forever 21

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I will start off with a picture of my gorgeous girlie in her costume! It is an Easter chick costume, but she thinks that she is a duck!! She ran around at her playgroup party shouting "duck, duck". It was very cute!!

3 weeks today and I shall be on my merry way to Orlando with my family for 13 days!! Yippee! I can not wait. The difference in Miss O since we were last there is huge and I just know that she is going to have a ball. With the holiday looming I am having a huge clear out of clothes that do not get worn - on eBay - in the hope that I can create space (before Christmas) and to try and up the spending money fund!!

This dress is in the sell pile! However, last night when I was taking pictures of the items to be listed I thought I would give this one more chance! It is still going! I just do not love it enough!! I am going to launder it this week and make sure that I goes to someone that will give it more wear!

Today's outfit is:

Dress - Soo Lee
Cardigan - Primark
Tights - Tesco
Shoes - Christian Louboutin

Saturday was another "meh" kind of a day! They are just not the kind of busy days that they used to be around here. I am hoping that it is just the calm before the Christmas storm! Anyway, I wasted time watching things on the Internet and planning my Christmas cake baking and crafts that Miss O and I are going to have a go at. However, this week I shook my mood off before I went home.

I love this top and I like to wear it. But since losing weight it has become too big and it now does not sit as well as it did. I think it may be a piece that I am going to have to get rid of.

Saturday's look was:

Top - Forever 21
Jeans - Primark
Shoes - Nine West

I love this outfit. This fabulous gold, jersey, wrap cardigan came into the shop a few weeks ago. They have not been a huge hit so far as they hang terribly on the hanger! I often find that styles that look awful hanging make people unable to picture how they could look!

I have quite a few other outfits planned for this cardigan and I will certainly be wearing it like this again!!

Saturday was a very "meh" day and I was in a very "meh" mood and got very little done - hence posting Saturday's outfit now.......
My mood continued into the evening and made me feel like I had wasted a bit of family time!! Not good!

Sunday was fabulous, we had friends round for lunch (I made sweet potato and chilli soup and homemade bread) and we then went for a walk to a local park with a duck pond and fed the ducks. Afterwards we stopped at the tearoom for coffee and cake to heat us all up!

I hope that you all had fabulous weekends?

Saturday's outfit was:

Jeans - Primark
Cami - Primark
Jersey Wrap - Blend
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins
