Thursday 30.07.

I have spent the morning investigating ideas for my autumn window display. I have been doing variations of the same thing for quite a while now and I really feel the need to up my game. I think that I have found some nice window stickers that will be a good starting point!

Now if all of the amazing Autumn/Winter styles would just start arriving things would be great! I can not wait to up date my personal wardrobe with fab new styles!

I felt that is was just a bit cool to walk to work this morning wearing the dress alone, so I added the leggings, but I seem to have kept them on!!

Wednesday 29.07.

Back to work today after a lovely day off! It is already making a difference to how tired I am just having that little bit more time at home!

The weather has turned wet and cold so I was really unsure of what to wear today. I then remembered that these trousers are on sale (and not really selling very well) in the shop, so I thought I would play model! I do love the masculine cut of the trousers with the girlie chiffon blouse!

Monday 27.07.

Monday already?? I should be off today but I have an appointment to buy some new stock for the shop so I am off tomorrow instead. I am only in the shop for another 30 minutes and then I am heading off.

This Weekend.

I do not often post about what I have done with my weekends, but this weekend was lovely and a rather big occasion in our house! Bista got to go outside walking for the first time!

Saturday evening we did not do much other than eat a yummy dinner, have a nice walk along the beach with ice cream and then lounge on the sofa! It was just fabulous.

Sunday was the big day. As usual we were all up very early, so we had a yummy hot cooked breakfast before getting ready for the outing.
We had decided to head to a local park for a walk, which is lovely but it had been very wet and we ended up with one very mucky puppy!

Bista got on very well. She walked well on the lead and was not at all bothered by the harness. She had great fun licking the puddles and chasing leaves and just walking about smelling and seeing all kinds of new things! It was lovely to see her so excited.

When we got home Bista fell into a nice long sleep so my bf and I headed out into the garden to tidy up a bit and check on the greenhouse.

Saturday 25.07.

It is a beautiful Summer day here and that means that EVERYONE is somewhere else!! I am having a very, very quiet day. I really do not like when that happens.

I was feeling very sleepy this morning and really had to idea of what I wanted to wear, so I went into the wardrobe and just stared for a while. This did not offer much so I then had a think about what was clean..........

Yippee, it is Friday!!

Thought I would wear my new skirt to keep up my theme or the week - which appears to be having my legs on display!! I got this on Sunday when I was out with a friend and I have to say that I love it a lot! It is just so bright and fun! I am sorry to wear the same shoes 3 days running, but they have just worked so well with each of the outfits!

I have a quiet weekend ahead (which will be great) but we do have a big occasion on Sunday...... The beautiful Bista can get out to walk around in the big bad world!! We are all very excited about this as the garden is no longer quite enough to wear her out!!

I am feeling very girlie and a bit Minnie Mouse today!! I love this dress - the colour and the shape make me feel very pretty and happy - I just wish it was a tiny bit longer!

Thank you all for the amazing comments yesterday, you guys really brighten up my days. An especially big thanks to all of you that said I have nice legs. My legs are my least favorite body area and it is very recent that I have showed them to the world. And now going by yesterdays comment I am thinking they are not as bad as I first thought!!

It is the middle of the week already and today is the first full day that I have been in the shop - I could get used to this!!

I have been feeling like I have been in a bit of a style slump lately, so I decided last night that I was going to break out the big guns today. I love these shoes so much - they are just so fun and they work with so many different things! I am hoping to get some more fabulous styles when I head to Matalan for a rummage with my friend tomorrow afternoon.

Friday 17.07.

Friday already what a quick week, not that I am complaining I really am looking forward to a nice lazy day around the house on Sunday!! And then on Monday I have a day off, and it is the start of me being off every Monday from now on! After almost 2 years of working 6 days a week I am super excited to have some time off to spend with friends and some time in the house, I have really missed spending time just chilling out reading or cooking!

It has turned pretty drizzly and miserable (but it is still hot) here and I was really unsure about what to wear this morning. Not for long though, I opened the wardrobe door and this dress was just staring me in the face. Decision made.

With the sale being on in the shop I am feeling a bit blah about my wardrobe. So, this week I have been drawn more to casual comfy clothes (the early mornings this week are not helping with this).

I am happy with this outfit, I think that a nice scarf at the neck can really dress up jeans and a tee. But since taking and looking at the pictures I wish I had worn my red ballet flats! Oh well next time!
I am also liking how the turning up of skinny jeans worked out! This is the first time that I have tried this out!

I had a very, very early start this morning as my bf was up at crazy o'clock as he is marshaling at The Open for the rest of the week! When he got up he woke the dog, who in turn, woke me. I will be having an early night tonight, I can assure you!

My sister got me this top for my birthday in June and this is the first time that I have worn it! I just love the vintage looking embellishment on the front and the open detail in the back. Lemon is not a colour that I am usually drawn to, but I am loving this look today!

Monday 13.07.

After a busy weekend of selling other people nice new clothes, I decided that today would be the day that I wear my new dress!

I have been looking for a jersey maxi dress for a long time and was beginning to think that I was just not meant to have one........
Then yesterday afternoon the bf and I took a quick trip to TK Maxx and I spied this lovely coral number at the front door! Not only is it a fab colour and jersey, but it is lined too! All this and only £18.00!

Wow - what a day Friday was!!

Sale day was finally here, the sun was shining and the shop was packed to bursting point with bargains! It was a fantastic day, busy, buzzing with a great atmosphere and quick. It was all very smooth and uneventful - well apart from a little scuffle over a half price French Connection dress which resulted in a broken sign!! Ah joys of ladies looking for a bargain!!

Yay it is a day for my favorite skirt - how I have missed this beauty!

Wednesday 08.07.

My summer sale starts on Friday, so today and tomorrow I am trying to get organised. I am closing just after lunch tomorrow so that I can get everything re-priced and displayed!

Because of this I have been keeping things casual and comfy this week so far. I have to say that I am enjoying it very much - it is nice to keep things a little more casual from time to time!

Tuesday 07.07.

I headed to the library last night after work to return a late book and when I got there they had 2 in stock for me that I had requested a while ago! I paid my fine, checked out the new books and headed home. Having 2 books that I have been waiting for made for a very lazy evening snuggling on the sofa with Bista! Of course today I am now annoyed with myself that I did no exercise what so ever - I did not even play any silly games on the Wii for a bit!

I am still feeling very tired - I am usually a pretty early bedder (between 10.30pm & 11pm) but we are putting the puppy out in the garden for the last time at 11.30pm each night (we take turns) she then gets up at around 6am (I usually get up at 7.15am). On top of this each time that we are in the garden she wants to play and we have to keep getting up to check what she is up to as she refuses to stay in the one area of the house when not in her cage! I have to admit that I did not think that I would be this tired!

Monday 06.07.

Another weekend over far too quickly! I had a lovely weekend, my friend helped me out in the shop on Saturday she then had dinner with my bf and I and then she and I went out for a few drinks! Sunday afternoon we had a family lunch with my bf's family - it was a great afternoon and Bista was welcomed as the newest member of the family.

Today's outfit is a repeat of what I was wearing yesterday! I love this top so much, I put it on my birthday wish list and my amazing bf got it for me. I was drawn to the orange and turquoise detailing, but now that I own it I LOVE the crochet details in the back of the top. I really do love more unusual pieces.

I am so glad that it is Saturday - the pup is taking it out of me. She is sleeping all night, but she is getting up at around 6am. I am very much looking forward to sleeping this weekend!

Friday 03.07.

Yay it is Friday! Unfortunately the weather has turned on us and it is raining very, very hard! Not good for custom, but great for clearing the air!

Today's outfit inspiration over at Fab Finds is stars so I just had to get on board! I love things with star pattern and not just clothes and accessories - I recently bought some Kath Kidston mugs with a fab star print!

We have nothing much planed for the weekend, just chilling at home with our little puppy!
Speaking of Bista, thank you to all of you that have been asking after her. She is settling in very, very well, she is going to bed at around 11.30pm and sleeping until around 6.30am. She is eating well and the toilet training is coming along. Her personality is getting stronger by the day!! I have the makings of a diva on my hands!!!
