Weekend Away.

As I mentioned last week, we were away over the weekend. We spent 3 lovely days in Aviemore in the north of Scotland. The weekend was not about fashion - in any way what so ever - it was about taking some time out and relaxing.

After weeks of me moaning about the snow and how much it was annoying me, where better for us to go for the weekend than Scotland's main ski resort. Oh yes we arrived to snow and lots of it. So much that it was almost as deep as my wellies are high!!

However, the log cabin with the wood burning stove made me hate the snow a little bit less!
Walking the dog - well that was another challenge!

Thursday 11.06.

Back to reality today - the holiday is over! It was great, very relaxing and other than wandering from village to village, drinking tea and eating cakes and indulging in some lovely chilled wine at night we did not do very much! It was the perfect way to spend time with my favorite guy!

Saturday 18.04.

Last day of work for 11 days!!! I am so excited I am almost jumping up and down on the spot!

I did not intend to wear the same colours 2 days in a row, it has just happened that way! This dress has only been in stock for a few weeks and it has been a popular style, it also comes in Navy blue and a pale lavender colour! Spring is definitely here when little dresses are selling so quickly! People are ready for bare arms and legs!

I am heading straight home at 5pm to have a quick dinner, change and get out to another friends wedding reception at 7pm! Then tomorrow is the day that the bags get packed and we hopefully have a quiet day before heading to the Bahamas on Monday morning!
