Today is my mums birthday. We are all out for dinner as soon as I finish up at work and then my bf and I are dropping my parents at the airport as they are off to Orlando for a week. Oh, how I wish it was me!
It has been a beautiful day here today - a perfect Spring day - dry, sunny and mild. It is so nice to see people out and about wandering along the street and looking at all that our little town has to offer. I hope that there are lots more of these to come!

I have no idea what we have planned for the remainder of the weekend, if the weather stays like this I think we may spend some time in the garden - trying to make it look a bit neater after the tough winter. And Bista will (I am sure) get a nice long walk along the beach. I wonder if the ice cream cafe on the promenade has re-opened yet?????????

Boutique Girl - I love the little comments you make now and again about your town - it sounds lovely! I'm originally from Scotland, but from a city - Dundee. Every time we pass through little places they always look so appealing to me, especially if they are on the coast! I'm sure your boutique adds a lot to the profile of your town.

I love our town - one long street with all of the shops, restaurants, bars etc on it and then the beach 2 streets behind that! It is a bit dull and windy today, but from now on it should be lovely and cheery!
