Wearing other shoes was not an option today, so the outfit was planned around the shoes! I was thinking of wearing my black crepe skirt that has the pink layer and doing some colour clashing. I was in the wardrobe looking for the skirt when I spied this dress and knew that I had to wear this instead!

I am having a 3 day sale with 20% off all of my stock, so I am hopeful of a few busy days. I hope that everyone that has time off over the weekend has a great time whatever the plans are.

Today's outfit is:

Multi-colour stripe dress - French Connection @ i am.....
Multi-colour patent sandals - Matalan
Scarf - Echo via eBay
Necklace - Ann Taylor Loft

Tuesday 10.03.

What a difference a nice bright and dry day makes?!
I am much more positive today and there have been lots of people in the shop - some just browsing and others buying! Fingers crossed this is a sign that the nicer weather is just around the corner, this winter has been going on forever - I am so over it!

I started my outfit today with the boots (I realised that I had not worn them for a while) and then worked the rest around them. It then turned out that I have not worn black with this cardigan/dress for a while - and it then all came together nicely!

Today's outfit is:

Plum cardigan/dress - Vila
Black cami - Primark
Black tights - Tesco
Plum necklace - Primark
Ring - Charlotte Russe
Boots - Topshop
Earrings - Forever 21 via the amazing Kimberly (I love them and you are the best!! <3)

Wednesday 04.02.

I really did not want to post this picture today but I am not just a fair weather blogger so here it is!
I have terrible hair today for 2 reasons, the first is I am giving my sensitive scalp a much needed product break this week and the second is the hat that I was wearing (put it on just after damping my hair to try and tame it - not a good idea).

However, I really do not care about all of these things as I took my very first delivery of French Connection stock this morning. My little boutique is finally a stockist of a well known brand - I am so excited. I hoping that this means big things for me and my baby (the shop).
I am also super excited about all of the new things that I get for cost price (well when I actually pay).

Today's outfit is:

Black knitted dress - H&M
Teal tights - Primark
Necklace & earrings - made by me
Black patent ballet flats - Old Navy

Monday 12.01.

Wow, early post for me! I am only in the shop for 2 hours today - Yippee! It is my lovely bf's birthday and I am taking him out for the afternoon. My mum is coming in at 12pm to let me go home to prepare a picnic for lunch! I am taking him to Culzean Castle for the afternoon and then we are going out for dinner this evening.
I got him a fabby new camera so that is why we are heading to the castle for the afternoon, so that he can play about with his new toys!

I am (I am afraid to say) wearing the same clothes as yesterday, I am going straight home to get into my grubby outside clothes, so I thought that I could get away with this as I love the grey top!

Today's outfit is:

Skinny Jeans - Vila
White long sleeved t-shirt - Forever 21
Grey poncho.Jumper - Monsoon
Black cardy boots - Ugg

Tuesday 06.01.

I made a point, yesterday, of dressing smarter as I had not really got dressed up over the Christmas holidays and here I am today back in my jeans. Well there is a reason, I have been removing all trace of Christmas from the shop - taking the decorations down. I thought that I would be sensible and wear clothing that is appropriate for climbing up and down ladders and for being in the window display.

I have never worn a belt with this cardigan but I thought that it just changed things up a little this morning. I have also since added my cream scarf.

Today's outfit is:

Jeans - Vila
Long sleeved grey t-shirt - Forever 21
Grey cardigan - Hollister
Cream belt - Primark
Cream and black ballet flats - New Look

A close up picture of today's belt.

I thought that I would share a picture of my Christmas gift picked by my FAB bf! The most beautiful Fendi make-up bag. I love it!
I have never really used a make-up bag inside my handbag (I used to just throw the lipglosses etc in the bottom of the bag) but this one is just the right size to hold the essentials and fit nicely in most of my handbags!

They are here.

My pearls arrived this morning!!! I can not believe the fabulous service from the wonderful eBay seller. I got them on a BUY NOW yesterday afternoon, as always I paid immediately. About 15 minutes later I got an email to say that the item had been dispatched!!
I got into work this morning and there was a small envelope (padded) laying on the mat, I tore it open and inside were my pearls in a lovely organza pouch. What a fab service for £3.00 (including shipping).

I am so happy about this, as this is the type of service that I strive to give my customers (both in my shop and on eBay). If I sell an item on eBay I send it off the customer the same day that they pay (unless it is a Saturday as the post office closes before me) I wrap everything in tissue paper and then in a protective plastic bag, before wrapping in brown paper or a large envelope.
This is the first time that I have had this kind of service in return.

I now can not wait to wear them over a cute outfit - I think I might just know where I will start!!

My lovely (faux) pearls, they are about 40 inches long!! And the cute little organza bag that they goe sent in!

Friday.

My feet were a little sore last night after walking, to and from work and then to meet my friend, in my boots - my feet are too used to flats! So, I planned my outfit around flat shoes and my new scarf!

Today's outfit is:

Skinny Jeans - Vila
Black V-neck t-shirt - H&M
Black half sleeved cardigan - Vila
Multi colour scarf - Coach (gift from Mum & Dad)
Red ballet flats - Tod's

My parents brought me this beautiful Coach scarf (along with a lovely cream leather coin purse) home from Orlando (I am a very lucky girl). My mum knows how much I love everything about Coach. For me it is not a label thing, I love how well made the products are and classic they look, and a Coach bag signifies a point of change in my life.

My love affair with Coach started nearly 4 years ago, I was going through a very difficult time in my life (and had been for a few months) and I was on holiday with my parents in Orlando (they had kindly paid part of the ticket to help me get away). In the run up to the holiday I worked 4 jobs (1 full-time and 3 part-time) just to get by, and every spare penny I saved for my week away.

The exchange rate was great and my money went far and lots of shopping was done. Half way through the holiday I came across Coach (outlet store) I was in there for hours, looking, feeling, trying over my shoulder - but I left feeling that it was just too much to spend on a bag or wallet. Anyway I went on and on about the bag that I loved and we went back another couple of times, to look at it. On our final night (I still had a little money) we went back and my mum talked me into buying the bag (small black shoulder bag with white stitching). I would use it on the rare occasion that I was going out somewhere nice.

The first Coach bag signifies my life changing for the better, I met my bf soon after my trip and used the bag on our first date! Four months after the trip, I was only working 2 jobs and by one year later it was only 1.

Since then I have added to my collection and still love the products and the stores. I still very much see the goods as a lovely treat. Last year my bf bought me a larger shoulder bag and this year I HOPE to get myself a leather organiser.

A closer look at my latest Coach item.

The best present.

My family are all home from there holidays and my sisters have already been in to see me, this of course was a lovely surprise, but even better they came bearing gifts!!!

My sister who had been in Orlando was very generous indeed, she brought me a lovely Coach bag - it is in my signature brown and beige tones! But best of all she brought me two magazines (ones that I can almost never get here) Milk Duds, Junior Mints and twizzler! What an afternoon I am going to have Reading magazines and eating sweets that I love! I always bring as many Milk Duds and Junior Mints home as I can, but they never last long!

My other sister brought me a lovely silk scarf (she was in Zante in the Greek Islands). They both made me suitably sick with the suntans that they have!

Thursday.

First of all I have to say sorry for the very grumpy face in the pictures! I was at the dentist early this morning with my broken tooth and I was all numb! Thankfully the tooth was saved and not pulled! On top of this I got soaked going from the dentist office to the car - thankfully the rain has now stopped and it has turned into a lovely afternoon! As it is now so nice I think I will take some pictures of things that I really have to get listed on eBay as the light in the shop is very good!

Last nights walk was another long one, I feel so good after I have cooled off and had a shower and I think I am sleeping a bit better for it! I also made myself take an hour to sort out the washing and ironing - so I am now on my way to being on top of it!

I am on my own this evening as my bf is working late, so I think I will have a little pamper night - mani, pedi, face scrub and mask!

Today's outfit consists of:

Grey pin stripe trousers - Blendshe
Plum bib detail jumper - Blendshe
Pewter wedges - Payless
Silver necklaces - H&M
Silver bracelets - Tiffany
Grey coat - Vila

Saturday.

I can not wait until Monday!!
The schools go back and that means that things should get back to normal for me. The shop has been quiet over the last 2 weeks, I am trying not to worry as I have spoken to my neighbouring traders and they are all experiencing the same thing. It seems that August is just one of those quieter months, people have other things to spend their money on - i.e. school uniforms!
Quiet days just always seem so much worse when they happen on a Saturday!

Today's outfit consists of:

LBD - Vila
Black cropped cradigan - Primark
Multi colour shell necklace - Topshop
Black patent shoes - Christian Louboutin
Black patent bag - Bendshe

I am in love with this bag! It came into the shop on Thursday (along with a lot of other things) and I just had to have one! It does help that the bag and shoes are a match made in heaven!!!!

Monday (& a weekend re-cap).

What a day Saturday turned out to be! After a slow, slow start I had a very busy afternoon, so good that I was on such a high when I get home I told my bf to get ready, I was taking him out for dinner!

We each had a quick shower and change and walked along to the train station. We took the train one stop (to the next town along the coast) and walked to a restaurant that we love. It was steaks and cocktails all round (Blueberry Punch - Yum yum!) and a good night was had by us both. After dinner we were able to sit outside on the terrace, as it was such a nice evening.

Yesterday, Sunday, was a glorious day (warm enough for shorts and a vest top - no picture as it was an outfit suitable for weeding etc) so we spent the entire in the garden getting things in order. It no longer resembles a jungle - thank goodness!
My parents very kindly came around and gave us a hand with all of the clearing out and cleaning up.

An unplanned BBQ was then suggested, so my mum and sister headed out to the supermarket to see what they could get their hands on. We feasted on kebabs with variations of chicken, prawns, chorizo and vegetables, burgers, jacket potatoes, salad and some pasta.
It was so nice to be sitting, eating and cooking outside that I did not want the evening to end. Thankfully my other sister appeared (she had just finished work) with Pimms so we all stayed out a bit longer!

Today, I have the afternoon off, so does my bf. I am not sure what our plans are yet. The weather is not so great. I am needing some colourful basics to brighten up my wardrobe, so we may head to the shops!

Today's outfit consists of:

Skinny jeans - Vila
Cream cami - Hollister
Red & cream stripe cardigan - Vila
Red Ballet flats - Tod's
Silver necklace & bracelets - Tiffany

Nothing to do with fashion, but....

I really, really, really want a Wii Fit!! I am getting obsessive about it, why are they still out of stock everywhere??
The bf and I are on an economy drive and to aid with this we have cancelled our £90 per month gym membership (yippee - no more feeling guilty that I have not been enough). So, I decided that instead of spending my birthday money on clothes that I kind of liked (I have not seen many styles that I have totally adored for a while) I was going to buy a Wii Fit instead.

Well it is now July, my birthday was mid June and I still do not have a Wii Fit!! But, boy am I proud of myself as I still have the birthday money!!! I must really, really want this thing!!

Anyway, my bf is coming home today via airport duty free, so maybe (fingers crossed) he will manage to get one there!!

I Can Not Wait!!

I have just spoken to my lovely boyfriend on the phone and...........
He is taking me to see "Sex and the City" tonight. I can not wait, I put off going to see it as I did not want to get there and be turned away due to tickets selling out (if this happens this evening I may just die).

I know by now most die hard fans have seen the movie and either loved it or hated it. I have managed to stay away from spoilers and all other information on the plot twists and turns etc. I just know that I will all but run home from work now!

Trinkets and Things.

I took delivery of my spring jewellery collection. It made a nice change for the postman to hand me a parcel, in place of the usual bills.

I am so happy with the range. It is so delicate, feminine and spring like. It is full of pink, blue and lilac stones. One range has little charms attached and another is adorned with stars (very now and very Chanel).

It is all priced and displayed, including around my neck and in my ears. I just could not resist a few pieces for my personal collection.......
