Statement Jewellery!

I am sure that you are all fed up hearing about the recession that the worlds economy is suffering? But there is not getting away from the fact that people are spending less than they were 18 months ago.

I have noticed a shift in buying trends in my shop. This time last year girls were buying new dresses for nights out with their friends, they were buying a new top when they were going out for a casual mid week supper. Now the same girls are buying investment tops in a “safe” colour and wearing it time and time again. Sales on dresses are now more restricted to the wedding and occasion market and even then a lot of people are opting for a dress that they own already and just adding new shoes and bag!

I realised that girls are now accessorising way more than they ever have before, as they can make that top look so different depending on what they team it with! Costume jewellery is now big business! And it is a business that I had not really bought into…….. Until now!!!

This week I took delivery of my fantastic new jewellery range. It is quite simply stunning and if I am honest I am lusting over every piece that is resting in my display cabinet!

The range is beautiful, bold, bright, statement making and well made. The pieces cost more than a piece from Forever 21 or Primark would cost, but as we all know, there are times where, you get what you pay for! And we all know how it feels to be in a bar, restaurant or at that work meeting and someone else has that £4.50 necklace on!!

Sukie Lau is ALL handmade using semi-precious stones, including Sandstone and Jade!
The styles that I have in stock in i am….. Start at £10.00 for the beautiful stud earrings and go up to £30.00 for the longer necklaces and the beautifully chunky rings!
This range by no means breaks the bank, and if you are going to layer a necklace over a top or dress that you already have in your wardrobe, the cost is much less than an entire new outfit would be!
